Hi guys, over the weekend i built a new PC due to the old one no longer sufficiently running games and have been looking for some new ones to play. Ive downloaded (steam) sacred 2, left 4 dead so far but am kind of looking for other games. Im into just about every genre, ive already played and beat fallout 3 several times on console, but besides that im pretty open, is bioshock worth it? a friend would sell it to me for 10 dollars if i want it. Besides that id be open to any recommendations, i generally like rpgs, rts and good ONLINE fps'. Not sure anyone plays Adventure games but is that Vampyre Story game any good? I used to love the escape from monkey island games.

Bioshock is worth $10 for sure. Do you own the orange box? It's a must have for any pc gamer. I haven't played Vampyre Story but its getting as good of reviews as any adventure game gets these days. Of course you'll want to try Crysis although the game itself isn't the very best, its a graphical wonder. Mass Effect is very good as well.

A couple of games spread throughout different genres for you to contemplate over:

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - perhaps one of the best RPGs if you read the backstory.

Bioshock - A must play, somewhat of a psychological thriller. For 10 bucks....WTF buyitimmediately!

Prince of Persia 4 - Awesome art work and some great adventuring makes this an excellent title.

Left 4 Dead - I am personnally not into this type of game, but if you have active friends on Steam, this online shooter is simply undeniable.

Dead Space - A superb horror game with some good (if not predictable) story.

GTA 4 - If you have a spanking new PC, this game is worth checking out. It's pretty much the game you do not want to miss in your lifetime.

Thanks for the speedy responses, to answer some of the questions and or game recommendations, ive never tried or bought the orange box because frankly none of my friends ever really mentioned it. I do have a lot of active steam friends, at least 20 that play left 4 dead so its quite a bit of fun playing with all them. Mass effect was a great game i played on the 360, ill try bioshock then.

The witcher i bought i just havent played it yet, and GTA 4 since my comp couldnt run it at the time i played and beat on the PS3. To answer the questions it should be able to run any game thrown at it, have 4 gigs of ram, 3.0ghz dc 8400 wolfdale overclocked to 3.6 and Sapphire 1Gb 4870's in crossfire. Ive heard good things about Dead Space though, so ill give that a try too.
