New PC on its way... What games should i get???

Ok my current PC isnt good and so I stopped buying games a long time ago for the PC and relied on my xbox360.

Ive now ordered this from dell:
XPS 420 Viiv Q6600 Quad Core Processor 2.40Ghz, 1066Mhz FSB, 8MB cache
3GB RAM Dual Channel DDR2 667MHz
640GB HDD 7200RPM
SINGLE 512MB Nvidia GeForce 8800GT Card
Windows Vista Home Edition
22inch DELL TrueColor LCD Flatpanel Monitor
16X DVDRW
Audio Intergrated HDA 7.1 Dolby Digital
5.1 Wireless Speakers

So I want to know what good games Ive missed out on! and what games are good to get... I like online play mainly so it needs to be good online. I like shooters, football and sims and anything else..

Please suggest some!

i'll start off the suggestions with orange box, crysis, cod4. all 3 are great games and include multiplayer.

There are some amazing games out right now. Crysis, The Orange Box, Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Unreal Tournament 3, World in Conflict, the Witcher, Supreme Commander are ones I can remember off the top of my head. I would start off with Teh Orange Box, Crysis, and World in Conflict.ChubbyGuy40

Nicely said, id stick away from Supreme Commander though, i didnt enjoy :) Haha, if you into scary games, try punambra overture, quite good!! Oh also F.E.A.R all 3.. Try gothic 3, with patches its brilliant (My fav).. Been playing it for 220 hours or so..

It's a Dell, too much.

Crysis (as others have said) & COD4 are top notch shooters......Rainbow Six: Vegas looks to be just as good, also has the advantage of selling at a lower price now ($19.99 @ Best Buy.....)

Bioshock(though it is only single player)

Quake Wars(I still haven't tried it though)

Orange Box(5 awesome games in one)

Call of Duty 4(single player is short but multiplayer rocks)

Crysis(personally, I don't like slow paced stealth games like this)

Oblivion(perhaps the greatest RPG even if there are games like The Witcher and Hellgate London)

Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars or World in Conflict(if you like RTS)

Assasin's Creed(if you can wait for February)

Turok(gamespot is giving A LOT of attention to it so it should be pretty good)

Guild Wars(it is currently the secondbest pure online game second to World of Warcraft)or World of Warcraft(if you are willing to pay not only for a CD but also for the playing time)
