New PC, outdated gamer; Which games should i take a look at?

I recently aquired a powerhouse of a computer, and decided to restart my career as a gamer.

I havent really payed attention the last 5 years or so, and wondered if you could direct me to the games worth playing?

I really like RTS and RPGs, though the occasional FPS doesnt hurt. Any suggestions?

RPGs, you say? Javel, mr Villmann.

Morrowind.

Many people seem to like Oblivion, check it out, it's a good game, I admit that.

Gothic-series are great.

Kotor 1 & 2.

The Witcher.

Vampire: Bloodlines.

NWN 2.

Maybe Fable and Jade Empire if you like action-RPGs with a good atmosphere.

Team Fortress 2, call of duty 4 modern warfare, and crysis (very demanding though)

some other good ones that are a must are

half life 2 (and the rest of the saga), bioshock, elder scrolls IV oblivion, and company of heros

Supreme Commander and Command and Conquer tiberium wars are amongst the best RTS
