Nic setup for sure but if you were investing good amount of money, why you didnt go with Quad CPU ?? Its more future-proof and with such setup, you wnt need to upgrade till long time

Switch the G9 for something else, i've heard they're awkwed, personally i like my copperhead but as you're going high end how about a Lacheis and get a mouse mat to go with it too.

Get samller hard drives and a backup drive so you can RAID0 without worry.

You'll also need an optical druive, how about a blu-ray to make good use of theat 28" monitor?

You could save some money, get a smaller monitor or just one set of Z5500s (why do you need 2?), and get some nice quite cooling, upgrade the fans to Noctua'sand get a thermalright cooler for your processor and you could look in to one for your graphics card. The sound of your pc fans will spoil the movie experiance that those speakers and monitor will give anyway.

higher speed duals run current games better as modern games arn't optimized for quads

Quads aren't necessary for gaming. An E8500 at 3.8Ghz (even stock) will power every game out there for more than a year better than most everything else. By the time they are necessary, the current cpus will be outdated ;) Looks good, btw, although I would go for a 24" samsung monitor myself, if spending that much already :)

NAH !! any OC'ed quad cpu runs game better than dual cores even if its nt optimized.. In the worst scenarios, they will just run almost with identical performance

nah ive played with the g9 for hours and its quite nice but a mate might be able to get me a lachesis for free as he is spnsored by razer :>. and im not gonna ruin my 370 dollar case with some **** drive hanging out of it lol. ima get 2 red led fans in the first 6 bays and a zalman fan controller in the 7th.

and funnily enough i already have one set of z5500s but im gonna get another for the lols and im hoping to get a samsung 305t 30 incher :> crysis @ 2560 yes plz

Im not talking about short-term.. Think about future, not even the close one... Your setup is pretty nice and powerful so with Quad, it could last you even longer and im sure within 1 year or less, games will show real usage of 4-cores probably so are you gong to upgrade again at that time ?

You can still get top brand if you want but when you get a virus or your RAID array fails you'll wish you'ld bought that backup drive.

You'll still need an optical drive of some sort, how are you gonna load up your games and play crysis without one?

LED fans may sound like a good idea but you'll get sick of them soon enough as they don't push a huge amount of air through and arn't that quite either. I didn't think you were gettin a windowed one either... Though as thermalright coolers don't come with any fans standard you could always add these red LED fans if you wanted

A good mousemat is useful with any mouse.

Why would you want a screen that big for gaming? The only reason i'ld ever connect a screen that big would be to show movies to friends that i might have saved on my HDD or recorded TV if i had a tuner in it. If i were you i'ld save the money and go for a 24" tops, thenspend the money saved on a nice desk, chair and better cooling.
