What do I do...or play?

I've already downloaded and played the following demos, Crysis. WIC, and COD4

I get paid wednesday :) but before I make a purhase what games are worth checking out?

Solataire, Minesweeper, Backgammon, Pinball, Heats, etc.:P

FEAR Combat is free, if you haven't tried that. Check out the stickies in here about free games. Otherwise, you can just borrow money from you pals.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a free multiplayer game that typically has plenty of players to frag with. check it out. it's good.

I like strategy but I hate micro management so WIC is a potential buy but I think I've played the demo too much ... is the full game any different?

And I loved Crysis so thats a must

More demos. Multiplayer demos especially are good fun and last long, for e.g the BF and UT demos. The Witcher demo should be pretty long too I think, and sometimes racing demos are pretty good like Race07 Demo has even online. And some MMOs have relatively long trials you can try. Not to mention old games get a new coat of paint too with a new rig. And free games should be easy to find, try for e.g. BMW M3 Challenge, America's Army, Trackmania Nations, Cellfactor etc.

Thats debatable. I prefer Crysis graphics a little better, draw distance is crap in RL. Also as far as gameplay is concerned, Crysis wins hands down. When was the last time RL was patched anyways? Buggy as hell. Monthly fees are pretty damn expensive too

Well new games other than CoD4, TF2, ETQW, WiC, CoH, Supreme Commander, Witcher, Mass Effect, Grid, SoaSE aren't that good.

well since got a beast of a machine i don't think there are any good fps or stratgey games for free. But why don't you borrow some games from a friend or use there steam account but what i would do is check out an mmorpg that has free trail like lord of rings,gaycraft. lineage 2(best game) or get some demos. GRID(one of the best demos - it has online and the demo got patched :S amazing) , DMC 4, (devil may cry 4) lost planet colonies, company of heroes etc. Nice rig enjoy it:P

you can alwyays down load demo games too. I would go with a free mmo they have substances will keep you playing for a while.

I say you get a Battlefield game, specifically 2142 if you haven't already played 2. Its very cheap and there is countless hours of gameplay here.

ive got WiC, and i love it, i can surely say (even tho i play on medium settings) that its the best looking (and playing) rts ive ever played
