I'd recommend against getting a prebuilt computer. with your price range, you can build an awesome computer for 1000 dollars, provided you already have all the periphirals. Did I spell that right?

Of course you would. It's a great idea! Oh wait, he siad he sucks when it comes to choosing hardware? Then it's NOT a good suggestion. Try a custom build site (AVADirect, ibuypower, cyberpower, etc) and see what you can get for around that price. You'll only pay an extra hundred or two vs what you'd spend building it yourself and you'll save yourself many headaches.

Shouldn't it be against the TOS to make multiple accounts and use them as such? -_-

Now there's a quotable paraphrase. "Learning isn't hard to learn" is the gist of what you just said...Genius! :) You're neglecting the hassle of installation, drivers, OS's, etc, for those who aren't battle-hardened in comp-building. True, you've gotta dive in there at some point, but 1000 bucks isn't chump change to mess around with....

I've only built a couple of computers myself, and it wasn't very hard to learn what parts to choose. Just be 100% certain your parts are compatible with eachother. I learned that the hard way.

The point of buying a pre/custom built one is to avoid the "hard way."

I say only buy prebuilt computers for when you aren't doing more than basic tasks

That's just not bright, tbh...The only difference between doing it yourself and getting it elsewhere is the total $ you'll spend. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to defrag.
