New to PC gaming

Im going to get into PC gaming soon. So what games are good?

I was thinking Demigod..or somthing. Or some non PC exclusives. Like Pure..or Lord of the Rings.

Any suggestions? (Besides W.o.W)..

What games do you like, are you getting PC mainly for RTS games? Do you prefer action games, rpgs? Are you interested in deep games that last you many many hours and require a lot of invested time to become much more enjoyable? Multiplayer or single player? Looking at your gamercard, definitely seems action orientated so Crysis, BF2, Half-Life 2, Bioshock, fallout 3

Demigod is a good choice, I really enjoy the game.

rpg- elder scrolls iv : oblivion :) still really like this game. but yeah that list plus crysis:warhead are games id play on pc.

If the game is on the console go for that version instead of the PC version. What my fellow PC gamers rarely ever bother to tell the new comer is that there are a lot of PC games that broken and buggy enough that better pictures are not worth the effort it takes to get some of these games to run.

Now that the doom and gloom is out of the way. Welcome. PC games have a good number of game types that have very little presence on the console.

One of the main stays of PC gaming is strategy. Some of the best would be Total War, Age of Empires, and Civilization.

RPG's on the PC are different enough from the RPG's on consoles that they might as well be their own genre. Have a look at The Witcher, Baldur's Gate II, and Drankensang.

The only online RPG I can recommend is Guild Wars. Mainly because its nothing like an MMO.

i like it how two idiots never owned an n64 as it had starcraft.. so therefore its not exclusive.
