Hey so I just brought a new computer and was interesting in using it for gaming. The specs are nothing fancy. I haven't changed or upgraded anything yet. I was wondering what I should get first with these specs:

CPU:AMD E2-1800 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

CPU Speed: 1.7

Video Card:AMD Radeon HD 7340 Graphics (348 mb)

I have a ps3 and am looking for PC exclusives mainly

Lol witcher 2 with that cpu he won't even be able to play witcher 1. How is this a "new" computer ? My 4 years old computer is stronger.

Sorry if i sound rude but you should stick with your ps3 with those specs..

You can't run the more demanding newer games with that or least not at a playable even if you consder 20fps at playable and expect to be running alot of modern 3D games at low settings at a low resolution games and don't expect much more then 30fps if you can do more in a game great just don't expect it for newer 3D games. anyways games that should work though and I consider worth playing are.

  • Fallout 1&2
  • Diablo 1&2
  • Deus Ex
  • Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl
  • Killing Floor
  • Half-life 2 + episodes
  • Portal 1&2
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • Audiosurf
  • Binding of Isaac
  • Team Fortress 2 using a fps config
  • Bastion
  • Plants vs Zombies
  • F.E.A.R and Extraction Point expansion.
  • Battlefield 2
  • Counter Strike 1.6
  • Starcraft 2
  • Titan Quest
  • Magicka
  • Civilization IV
  • Bit Trip Beat

Try Minecraft, that game should work just fine, and is a thousand times better on PC.

That is an exceptionally slow processor. Is that a netbook?

Looks like a netbook.

Recommend use your PS3 till you can save up for a rig.

Edit : Actually you know what?

Go to this site : http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

and try a few games that you're interested in, see how they would run on your system.

Don't worry about having low specs. You wil not be able to run the newest games but there are tons of amazing pc games you will be able to run. Half Life 1 and 2 Portal 1 and 2 FEAR 1 Condemned 1 Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 Deus Ex series STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl Torchlight 1 and 2 Oblivion / Morrowind Rome Total War Minecraft World of Warcraft Mass Effect Doom 3 Tomb Raider Anniversary And so much more. Also look out for indie titles if that's your thing, there are some great ones out there and they will often run on lower specced machines! Have fun!

Oh and don't forget, if you are uncertain if your netbook can handle it, check out a demo if possible! :)

If it's a netbook stick to 90s point n click adventure games like monkey island, brokensword, blade runner...

They can't even run gta vice city properly.
