New Vegas on Steam Problems?

I bought the game about a week ago, and it worked fine until today. Whenever I try to start up the game, I just get an error message that says: "There is already an instance of Fallout: New Vegas Running." I checked everything and I obviously don't have another tab of New Vegas running, help?

Did you alt-tab-del and see what's running on your pc? If you see the game already running just click it off. Or just reboot and should fix your problem.

The programprobably hung in memory when you closed it last. Open the Task Manager, find the .exe for New Vegas in the processes tab, and End Task. Wait a few seconds, and it should let you open it again.
