Is this video card any decent? its a Asus en8600GT 512MB Graphics Card - PCI-E

Dont ask for my other system specs just want to know if this card is any decent?

n00b bait,get a HD 2600XT 256MB for less,or save up more for a HD 3850 if your PSU can handle it.

Well, it's hard to say if it's decent without your other system specs. But the 512MB version is a ripoff. Get the 256MB version.

Core speed, memory speed, and memory bandwidth are important to performance. VRAM amount has nothing to do wiith either the image quality or the animation speed in a game. Only if a "512 MB" version of a slow card such as that one has exactly the same price and the same specs named above as the more suitable 256 MB card does the 512 MB one become acceptable, but it's still wasting resources.

A mid-medium card like that cannot USE more than 256 MBs for anything that I know of. Everything past that's wasted.
