i personally was thinking of buying an Evga 9800gtx , my previous card was an Nvidia geforce 8800gt .
Max budget 150 Euro's. is the 9800gtx good compared to the 8800gt or do you guyz recommend an other card for 150 please reply!

at this point, i wouldnt do it. aim for something like the GTX275 or ATI's new DX11 cards.

nah just gotta be 150 euro's i know that the gtx275 will at least be 200 - 250.

Small difference, not really worth the upgrade. Maybe there is something else you can upgrade, what cpu do you have?

cpu = intel core 2 duo cpu E8200 @ 2.66 ( not Oc) what about the ? gts250 1gb ?

Well if you can wait abit for prices of mid-high end Ati DX11 cards come down to the 150-200 euros price point is imo the best think to do. If you want a card now i say go for the Ati 5770. Performance wise much better than the 9800gtx+ about the performance of a 4870 or a bit better but with added dx11 support and less power hungry

after hearing your guyz's comments i think i'd rather wait then for the EVGA GeForce GTX 275 ? any other cards that will drop price ?

it will be nearly impossible to find gtx+ on eu hardware sites becasue it is old and i guess nv do not produce them, if u had a big budget and a mobo what supports sli then i would suggest u to take 2xgts 250, becasue their performance is great but u want 1 card so go for ati 5770

Not many choices to upgrade the cpu, so its fine as it is. The GTS250 is practically the same graphic card as the 9800GTX+, so not recomended. Grabbing a GTX275 would be a nice upgrade :)

Get 5770 or 4890, gtx 275 is kinda pricey for performance ratio.
