Be careful ordering from this site. Their service is alright, but they don't pack anything well. I'm 0 for 2 successful orders. Everything is thrown into boxer in weird angles and/or no packing support. You'll be lucky to get your hardware in one piece.

Just my experiences, wanted to share.

The guy processing your orders must be in a rush to go home because most people think very highly of newegg. I guess the experience varies.

I have ordered A LOT of stuff from Newegg, and everything has been packaged wonderfully. Contact Newegg so they will take care of this and keep it from happening again in the future.

They have the best support in the business.

Having spent nearly $4000 at Newegg in the past year or so, I am going to have to disagree with the OP wholeheartedly. The only problem I've ever had with a product from Newegg is a monitor that was broken during shipping, and they sent me a new one within three days, before they had even received the broken one. I was more than a little bit impressed by that.

If anything, I've found the amount of packaging used by Newegg to be excessive, not skimpy.

It doesn't get any better than Newegg. If you're in America, that is where you order computer parts, period.

Seriously, they've probably already fired the guy that packed your stuff that way. I've spent over $8500 with Newegg since 2003 and have never once had a problem with how they package shipments. Now UPS occasionally losing packages or not finding my address (on a main road only 1 mile from the depot that delivers to me) is another story. But that's not limited to Newegg. Best. Store. Ever.

I have never had a problem from them either and I plan to build a pc and I plan to buy parts for it from them. I also plan to buy some ram for my Mom's pc from them as well.

I buy everything from newegg and I yet to be disappointed with there service. You may just have bad luck. Ive probably spent over $2000 there and have never had to send anything back or had anything broken.

From my experience newegg is pretty much rock solid if anything they put too much packing material a flash drive I ordered there came with a crap load of packing peanuts. They get everything out fast too must be hiring ninjas to ship this stuff I ordered parts 3 days ago and the next day my first package arrives... I check my mail to track the rest of what I ordered and they were all pretty close I'm in Norfolk, VA and all of them are already in Richmond, VA and I had stuff coming from as far as the California warehouse.
