The day I bought mine, they were selling out within an hour of being in stock. I plan to buy another one for SLI but the model I bought is already $30 more than it was when I bought it. Nvidia has a hit!

Not so strange, given the price/performance ratio seems almost too good to pass up.

just wait...they are suppose to be putting a new 8800gts out if i remember correctly...and it will be better then the 8800gt and could close the gap considerably between the GTX and Ultra.

Well dont get a Gt if you want graphics. In terms of graphics capabilities most are 256 bit just like the cheaper 7900 gts.

Look it up. Go for the barly more expensive 8800 gts if you want 300 some bit graphics.

lol, you obviously haven't seen any benchmarks of the 8800GT, it is a great card for a really great price. Now that newegg finally got some in stock, I hope prices drop a bit back to normal before I purchase one in December.

True, in all the benchmarks, it also runs parallel with the GTX which costs twice as much.
