NEWS: Crysis 2 is confirmed to be getting a DX11 patch

Today CryTom posted on the official Crysis 2 forums on mycrysis.com stating that:

"We would like to announce that there will be a DX11 patch released for Crysis 2. We are working to get the best out of DX11, so we'll wait to announce the features until a little closer to release."

Sounds like they are trying to take advantage DX11. I wonder when we will see it released?

I honestly doubt DX11 will fix the 2d shell casings. It would've been better if Crytek left it out altogether. Beyond that, I'm fine with the graphics in Crysis 2 as it is.

It should be out a few weeks before Crysis 3 comes out.
