Guru3D community feedback

Seems the Battlefield games still experience graphical glitches with these drivers. Hope nVidia fixes that in future releases. Warhead also seems to perform worse.

Far Cry 2 180.42 benchmark

Shows slight FC2 performance improvements in DX9, about 5-10%-ish. But there are very significant improvements in DX10 (to the point where it actually performs better in DX10 than in DX9 [like games in DX10 are supposed to, as opposed to worse like we've been seeing]), with performance gains of ~30%. In DX9, SLI'd 260's trail the 4870X2, but in DX10 the tables turn and it's the 260's on top.

Why is it called the big band II? At first I thought that it was a new gfx card from Nvidia. So its the new drivers for the current Nvidia GFX cards?

Mmm this sounds excellent, hopefully some of it caries over to the ancient 8800 series :).

If this is true, it's very impressive. Now, when is ATi going to do something this epic? :(

Actually people like ATI's Vista drivers more than Nvidia's.

Can't wait for the drivers!

Nvm they just moved the fan settings somewhere else, you can still set the fan speed.
