i forgot about project origin. and far cry 2. it seems that fps genre will dominate in terms of hype in 2008 as well. and 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012...
I should probably read what other people say more often. I am gonna have to go with FarCry 2 and Project Origin, whichever comes first.

BioWare MMO is likely to outdo WoW...it is in developpment for 2 years now? So expect 1-4 more years of developpment I guess, but it is coming.WAR and Age of Conan would both have high claims. Although the clerk at the local game store couldn't find WAR in his lists...which make me laugh!

I thought Farcry 2 was pushed back until 2009 in the GI magazine.LTZH it said 2009 fiscal year which is March 08 - March 09, so it could be out in April
it has to be GTA 4.. wwell u can pla it in a fps mode.. so yeahor what about hitman 5, or splinter cell 7
