Next Epic PC exclusive game??

What do you guys think will be the next epic PC exclusive game? Now that the days of Quake, Doom and Half Life seem to be over. Who knows when the next Half Life will come out and I mean sequel not an episode. Plus, there is a very good chance Half Life 3 will go to consoles as well. We lost Crysis as an exclusive so what is left? I could argue the next three epic games that will be exlusive are all from one developer.... Blizzard

3. Their next MMO

Ha pretty sad that only one developer is left that make top notch quality games that are exclusive to the PC. Boy, I miss the early 2000's when we had FarCry, Doom (even tho that game kinda sucked) and Half life 2 all come out close to each other. Now we hardly have any epic games left... I would not mind sharing games with consoles so much if it would not bog down the PC versions technically. One of the main benefits of PC gaming just seems to be lost nowadays. I havent enjoyed an MMO's since Verant made the original EQ. WoW had too many kids and farmers for my taste. EQ2 was ok but it still followed the old raider are supreme formula which I have always despised. I am hoping the Bioware gets it right. Give me more 1 player and small group (2-3 player) content with a nice deep crafting system not more raider barf bags. Have my fingers crossed.

Also looking forward to D3, SC2, maybe HL2 Ep3. Though I am not interested, it looks like we might get FFXIV (yawn). Guild Wars 2 looks interesting. I still love FO3, & DAO. Still need to get ME2. Plenty to do this year.

- The Old Republic - Could be the most fun ive had with an MMO since Ultima Online

- Starcraft2 - Blizzard, not much else to say

- Napoleon Total War - Looks to be the best Total War game yet

- Diablo3

- The Witcher2

I agree with SW:TOR this is a Bioware game, so you know it's going to be epic. This could just be the game to de-throne WoW!

The next will be Starcraft II, since the beta is incoming.

I'm not sure about Diablo III since I supect that the game will be ported to consoles: the lack of inventory management could be a sign of pad controlling interface. Also, I'm not sure about BF 3 as PC exclusive. I supect a multi release.

Stalker call of pipyat just came out, its big to me. Napoleon: Total War, Starcraft 2, Command & Conquer 4 (if it comes to console its still a pc game to me), and a new Dawn of War 2 expansion... im happy with that considering its only February and all that is already announced.

To be fair I enjoyed Empire A LOT. Its just the multiplayer that sometimes screws up. That said, I got into the multiplayer campaign beta with a friend and -when it did work - it was pretty epic.

TC mentions basically all FPS games and people here are banging on about MMO's and RTS. Yes star craft 2 will be AMAZING but where is the next Epic FPS for pc going to come out? We are just getting BC2 which is great but its a filler for what MW2 for most. I personally want another Counterstrike or Quake or Unreal Tournament game. Something that is competitive multiplayer not some wizards and orcs MMO. WoW was so boring imo =\.

p.s. i have a dumb friend(owner of a xbox 360) who keeps insisting that Crysis 2 will come on consoles also...does any of you guys know if Crysis 2 will be on consoles too?coz if the answer is "yes" i dont know how it will be better than original Crysis since they will have to bring down the quality of the game to make it playable on the 360 and ps3...unless....omg Crysis 2 will come out when ps4 and xbox 720 will be announced !!!!!! :D

Yes, Crysis 2 is coming out on the PS3 and XBOX 360 also. I'm sure there are others here that can explain the tech details better, but my understanding is that the textures and general graphics and all that are all very high quality but the new engine significantly reduced the draw distance so those massive jaw-dropping, awesome views you saw in Crysis 1, dont expect the same in Crysis 2.
