Awesome More F.E.A.R. !! Anybody else exited about this?

I'm happy, though I'd be more excited if it was being done by Monolith.

Looks like we're going to get an overdose of "trippy moment" FPS with two series annoying us with them.

hopefully its on a new engine, and not just an expansion pack again. hopefully its more different, and not just in a big dark building the whole time, tho it was a great game, i just dont want to see the same thing againncderek

I'll probably pick it up although I can't say I'm too excited. FEAR was awesome but Extraction Point was just more of the same. That's definitely not a bad thing but it isn't exactly exciting either!

Monolith IS developing a new FEAR, game. However it will not be named FEAR since VUG owns the right to that title. The "FEAR"-game that Monolith is developing will follow the original story, and will pick up where the EP-expansion ended.

The new expansion pack is being developed by the same team that made Extraction Point. It will put you in the role of another guy. Not the FEAR pointman that we are used to.
