I don't get this, I thought developers make cross-platfrom games to earn more money, but it seems the opposite is coming out. Maybe this will help them to make exclusive titles for pc in the future?

One of the biggest problems with the next-gen for PC's is that a lot of people don't have a PC powerful enough to play them.  My rig played Half Life 2 and Doom 3 without any problems, but I'm probably not even gonna buy Crysis because I know my machine can't handle that one.  I'll have to wait til I upgrade, I'm not planning on doing that for a while.  I'm sure that's one of the main reason PC next-gen titles aren't doing that well in sales.

What a load of cobblers, it's been like this for over a decade. There've always been games that require you to upgrade.

i think the biggest thing is the switch between AGP and PCI-E, right now its pointless to upgrade a AGP GPU, but not everyone has the money to buy a new PCI-E rig

That's true that many times before some games forced you to upgrade your pc but now so many people are saying "since this is coming to xbox360, I'm not buying it for the pc" And the article I mention says that because of cross-platform developed games, developers/publishers are losing money...anyway I hope pc games will get more exclusivity.

Right, but we'll get PCI-E soon, if you recall we were all with a 286!

Holy crap people still use AGP? Wow i had a pc 6 years ago that had PCI-e.  lol.
And I hope all the new hardware will actually help PC and hardware sales.  Crysis will probably get many people to upgrade, and therefore making a large portion of PC users have high-end equipment.
