No Bioshock PC Demo?

I can't believe that the Xbox demo coming out before the PC demo is not a calculated move. Either way this sucks.

That could be true. I seem to remember reading that is was the same content as the Xbox demo but that doesn't mean it's not new content that needs tweaking for the PC. Still feels like the PC is getting the short end of the stick. I say we Boycott all console games. Also, smash your Xbox360, make a video of the destruction and put the video on Utube.

Of course, they aren't charging me for the demo, so they don't owe me a bug-free demo. Now the retail game, on the other hand, had better be in damn good shape or get properly patched ASAP.

Yeah, we've been through this in another thread, but I can't say it enough. I don't trust a game that can't get a playable demo out on time. It bodes ill for the optimization of the game. All these silicon freaks with 8800 cards and quad-core processors don't have to worry, but I've got EXACTLY the minimum specs. I mean to the number. I will not buy this game on launch because I do not trust this minimum spec. Every game demo using this engine on the 360 has come out as a chuggernaut on my desktop and a slightly-better specced laptop. It's been said elsewhere. One developer is trying to sue the people who made the Unreal engine because they supposedly optimized it for the 360 and are leaving PC developers jacked.Srinivassa

Well if you are gonna buy a sub par system. Then go ahead and buy a 360, but if you actually buy a good system for around ~1,300+ take or minus, I think it would be way better than playing on the 360.
