no Crysis 2 on Steam?

wanted to put my preorder in, but did not see it on Steam.

Any idea if its going to be available? Otherwise I will just buy it retail

it will be on steam for preorder, im sure of it.

I also guess that it will appear on STEAM soon. I will buy the import version in Switzerland to take advantage of the exchange rates at the moment ;)

ugh its also like how portal 2 preorders started for amazon and gamestop, but we must wait for steam lol

I hope it shows up on Steam soon. I don;t want to get ancy and purchase it from a store close to/on release and then have them release it on steam the next day. :x

Im sure it will be on. Steam has a habbit of having certain games on only a week or so before release.

They should also add Bulletstorm on pre-order.

I hope its not on steam god all games are on steam nowadays anyway it would be good to see a game that was not on it.

That depends entirely on EA. EA has its own online digital distribution service, the EA Store, and Steam is its direct competitor. Kind of easy to see from there why EA would be hesitant to promote its competitor's platform, but at the same time, wants Steam's customers to spend money on EA's games.the_ChEeSe_mAn2

this is my fear as well; i remember a recent article on Kotaku (I think?) stated EA is going to start limiting what it sells on Steam, that might not be true. EA downloader...Steam...its all money in their pocket.

I just trust Steam more, most of my games are on there, and I just plain like Steam :)

lol there are still Steam haters out there? I am sorry, if you want your retail copy, thats fine there will be hard copies of Crysis 2 out there in abundance, but a lot (most of us?) really enjoy Steam for a variety of objective and subjective reasons.

I would recommend giving it a 2nd chance. Steam is the nexus of the universe for PC gaming.
