Cuz PC gaming is better :Pis it true? how come they give dedicated server to pc gamers while they pay less than console gamers?

The reason console gamers normally dont get dedicated servers is because its much harder to set up them on xbl and psn, due to the limitations of their network, also because the limitations of sony and microsoft. I do believe they have to pay them for their dedicated servers. Besides cod mw2 ran on non dedicated and people didnt mind. So, you can essentially blame the people who didnt care last time ;p.
there have been like 2 games that have ever had dedicated servers on Xbox and that was Battlefront 1 and Battlefront 2. Plus you had to have an entire xbox with a second copy host it and at that nobody seems to have past 2mbps upload which is still too slow.
It's pretty much standard in Sweden to have 10mbps upload.there have been like 2 games that have ever had dedicated servers on Xbox and that was Battlefront 1 and Battlefront 2. The publisher nor developer pays for dedicated servers. The dedicated servers are PC gamers or some other third party that pay a server provider to create a server space for them.
Example:

P2P for consoles is just something that fits within the whole simplicity theme they have going on. One-click matchmaking.

Those games I listed are from 2005 and 2006. Did sweden have a 10mbps upload standard in 2006? Also did a bunch of Swedish people have extra xbox and game copies lying around?
Oh, and thanks to Kotick it is guranteed PC gamers will no longer get a price break compared to console prices.

But it's not really a price break at all. Developers and publishers don't have to pay the licensing fees on PC games like they do on the consoles but their profit margins per game are still the same. It's just that Microsoft and SONY take at least a $10 slice of the pie which inflates the cost of the game. Anyhow, this is precisely why I would never pay $60 for a PC game. I'm not a fan of supporting corporate greed, pure and simple.

games development is getting more expensive every year, I don't mind paying 60$ for a PC game as long as the content justifies the purchase.

If they're getting more expensive every year, then why just in the last year have we seen a $10 hike in price, but it hadn't changed in how many years before that? It's greed, pure and simple. Activision started it (not the first, there have been $60 PC games, but for an every release thing they set the trend), other companies are following.Activision started it (not the first, there have been $60 PC games, but for an every release thing they set the trend), other companies are following.w4rrior17"Activision started it but they were not the first, " I learn something everyday. Is it really that big of a deal, it is $10 more, not that big of a deal.

Pretty sure Bad Company 2 uses dedicated servers on the consoles, that's why console gamers have started caring about them all of a sudden.
And on topic putting ded servers on consoles costs a lot of money, on PC it doesn't cost anything because anyone can host them.

Dedicated servers cost money to run. Thats why, players are paying for them.
Microsoft and Sony charge $10 from the the publishers for each game.
No point for consoles to have dedicated servers.

I meant Activisoin seems to have set the bar, but I'm sure it's been done before on older releases. But it seems that other companies are following now, so it's more of a norm. But the first $60 PC game wasn't published by Craptivision.
Plus you totally worded that way worse than I said it, lol.
Actually, a more recent example is Section 8, which had Dedicated servers on the 360 (not sure about PS3 though)there have been like 2 games that have ever had dedicated servers on Xbox and that was Battlefront 1 and Battlefront 2.
