Was anyone actually expecting Heart of the Swarm this year? I will admit that I expected Diablo this year, and am wholeheartedly disappointed now.

This. I didn't expect any of them for this year. At most, Diablo III beta has some chances to arrive aty late 2011, but so far that's all.

this is nothing new, blizzard likes to announce their games years in advance to create hype. but by the same token they have kept showing stuff up and it makes you wonder how big the game will be or if they restarted the game from scratch since a lot of people were not happy with what they were seeing in some parts of the game...

Whoa! That brings me way back. I'm highly intrigued.

First guys they never mentioned diablo 3 in there..They are also currently working on another ip..Its to be announced game..We also no the other game will be starcraft 2 for next year..If it does slip to 2012 im kind of glad..Way to much on my plate this year..Ive got two other good click click click games do out ill enjoy..Also its a great year for rpgs..Im not worried if it does slip..You guys should check out dungien siege 3 it doesnt look half bad to carry your time..Also torchlight 2 is do out that will be fun..Im not worried in the least..Would i love to see my beloved diablo 3 this year hell yes who wouldnt..They released starcraft 2 this year already and made a killing..They will wait next year an release d3..Im wondering why they pushed back bilzzcon till oct when its normally in sept i think they said..

Hmm, I am not pleased by these news. But their games are "done when it's done."They dont rush with their games and for that I am thankful. Another quote would be "A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever".

The more time they spend on polishing the games the better, I want Diablo 3 to be as good as it can possibly be, same goes with Heart of the Swarm.

The technique of not having disappointment of delays is simply to forget Blizzard or their games. Don't follow any news, videos, blogs,etc. Works wonders for me when SC2 came out. It's sort of "Wow SC2 is going to be released in a couple of days? That was fast."

i don't get it why they announced diablo 3 like 6 years ago if they weren't even close to release it and every year they have the people waiting for it without saying anything about its release date
