This isnt any surprise to anyone here, but the witcher didnt get nominated by gamespot for game of the year nor pc game of the year. Bioshock took the spot where the witcher deserved. The witcher, to my mind, is clearly the a better game overall compared to Bioshock.
lets compare. Bioshock had 12 hours of gameplay, the witcher have at least 60 hours. The storyline is deeper and more involved then Bioshock. It felt like living in a real world, NPCs would run toward shelter when it rains, NPCs would have their own times, either be sleeping during the night or be in a bar, Bioshock all the NPCs are where exactly they should at any time of the day. There is really conquences in The Witcher, what you do in the game will effect the outcome at the end then Bioshock other then if you kill too many sisters you get a bad ending. Bioshock only advantage is its much better graphics, but if people arent into candy eye, then it would be totally irrelevent.
So why didnt The witcher get nominated over Bioshock for pc GOTY or GOTY?
