Sup, i decided to build my own computer, piecing everything together from Newegg... and so far everything turned out great. All components installed, everything hooked up correctly, etc. Anyways, i fire it up and everything spins, harddrive beeps and spins up, video card fan blows, case fans, CPU fans, etc.... everything fires.... but i get no signal to the monitor so i am blind. No beeps from the motherboard either :(

Can't be too specific on names b/c i get an error from GS but i hope the point gets across...

Any ideas? Time to return the motherboard as "dead"? This is really getting frustrating.

Specs:

- P5N-D ATX Intel Motherboard (SLI 775 socket)

- Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz

- 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 Dual Channel Memory

- 750W Power Supply

- 320GB internal (SATA)

- GeForce 8800GT 512MB

- DVD/CD drive

- 19" Widescreen LCD

Yup, motherboard was DOA, you would mostlikely need to get an RMA and get it replaced, also if possible test to see if it may be the video card.

Remember to double check wiring on the motherboard 2 power cables should be connected directly onto the mobo (one is the big connector, the other one is small squared one)

I had the same problem with my baby. Does your motherboard have an intergrated Graphics card? Mine did, and I realised I had to plug it into the Motherboards output and switch off VGA mode. :P Sure made me panic at first though! Hope it all goes well.
