Hi, i was just wondering about the requirements for No Man's Sky. Will it run on the ASUS ROG GL752VW? I dont mind playing on low settings.

These are the specs:

Intel Core I7 6700HQ

Nvidia GTX 960M 2GB

16GB RAM

Min req from steam:

    • OS: Windows 7
    • Processor: Intel Core i3
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: nVidia GTX 480
    • Storage: 10 GB available space

The 960m seems rather weak, it gets around same 3dmark score as the 480, but the gaming benchmarks show that f.e Ryse runs quite well on 960m if you dont push max settings and witcher 3 on 50~fps on med settings.

Worst case scenario you can refund it on steam? but should most likely run fine.

@cburneo96: +1 to what @howmakewood said.

According to the notebookcheck (greatest site to learn info about a laptop CPU/GPU), GTX960M is equal to GTX480.

With my math this should be accurate (GTX960M = GTX750ti + a few% = HD7850 - a few % = GTX480 - a few %, and if you add the better drivers for the 9xx series, you can equal the 10% raw performance that misses).

If you don't mind the settings then the game will 100% run on your laptop based on min requirements.

My advise though is to wait for the performance reviews since companies the last 10 years suck a lot in suggesting min and recommended requirements...

tempted to pre-order...not sure. Ugh I want a space sim but I haven't really enjoyed one since I-War 2/Freelancer days. Not sure which one was last...
