Noob C&C question - setting up a mobile construction yard

Hey, I am a noob at C&C, and I dont know how to set up a mobile construction yard, I am stuck on the third mission of the 1st game, I read FAQs and they all say to immediatly set up a Mobile construction yard right away and start to build **** the only problem is, I have no ****ing clue how to set one up even tho they make it sound like I should just atomatically know.

That's probably because there's half a dozen C&C games and they're all identical. I haven't actually played C&C3 beyond the demo, but try giving it a double click - try each mouse button - and if that doesn't work, I believe there's a UI command bar bottom right - as well as bottom left, and ability icons mid left, that may have some unit options when the mcv is selected.

"D" is the hotkey in most or all C&C game that makes a unit deploy and undeploy. Press that when you have any unit selected to trigger its deploying action, and in the case of the MCV's, the deploying action is to set up into a construction yard.
