It's newest generation, but it is bottom of the barrel, don't expect to get games beyond really low settings with it. However an 8600 is a much better performer for the budget minded consumer and will get your games running on medium settings.

You should be fine. You could do better, but it sounds like it won't matter to you if the games are on low.
