noob q: can you take parts out of a ps3 and put them in a pc

i was thinking of buying a ps3, then taking out all the parts, and putting it in a pc, this would save me alot of money, do you know anyone thats done this?

No, the hardware works on a completely different chipset, it just doesn't work like that sadly.

You can, however, install linux on a PS3 an use it as a PC. No windows games in this case, but hey you have a PS3 right there.

umm no. But as mentioned^^ you can put linux on to a ps3. Well you can put linux on to most things
