Is there any car games out there that you can drive without a course? Like basicly driving in real like like on a highway or interstate? Since then the roads will not have soo much turns and then I can go fast as I want to if I wanted to like in real life. I have for real on my GEO Prizm LSI have gone upto 106 MPH for a min and the slowed back down but one thing I like about the highway is that there isn't alot of turns and I don't have to slow down as much as I have to on games like Need for speed. My car can only go upto 110 MPH since that's what my meter says. I almost maxed out my car. I have a 1.8L engine instead of the 1.6L that the normal Prizms have. But anyways I want a game that is like me drving on a highway going fast if I wanted to. Thanks
FUEL, if that's your thing. The world is pretty empty, but you will have thousands and thousands of kilometers of highways, dirt paths and mountain trails you can explore in free roaming mode.
Mostly any driving simulator will do. But they're mainly useful for learning the signs rather than actual driving. Of course the feeling in a real car will be very different.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 seems like what you're looking for. It's pretty underwhelming as far as an open-world racer goes, but it includes two full islands (Ibiza plus Oahu from the first TDU, unlocked at rank 10) for you to burn on at your leisure. You can go as fast as you so desire without the cops batting an eye at you, unless you continually harass them at which point they turn the entire island's police force plus the National Guard on you. :P
I'd give a nod to TDU2, there is alot of open road and highways through rural, across coasts, down mountains and even skyways -- it offers an excellent game world. A part of it is about exploring too and you are rewarded simply by driving with risk using with the FIRM system.
Is there a demo that I can try for Test Drive Unlimited 1/2 games? I would like to play it first and see if I like it.Dallas1984
Its 40 bucks on steam and its pretty cool racing game..Graphically stunning environment..LIghtning flashing an raining while you drive..Off road type racing as well..Its fun as heck..Been playing it the last two nights been having a ton of fun..Pick it up but use the xbox 360 controller for sure..Maybe a stearing wheel if you own one..
