norotn 360 any good?

i just saw that amazon has it for 30 is this a deal

I have heard that Norton 360 is garbage, but i really can't say as i have not used it.

Waste of money. Use Microsoft Security Essentials and buy a game off steam or 3 with the saved cash.

half true.. security essentials is SOOO easy to violate.

id sooner recommend he pull his teeth out and use them as leverage should his pc ever come under attack :P

AVG while it is the most ungodly thing on the planet still works okay..i recommend pairing it wil malware bytes or super anti-spyware and a user friendly firewall such as microsoft defender.

also consider getting a 64-bit os if you dont have one already.. their harder to write code for and are 98% invincible to rootkits. to crack windows vista, server 08, or 7 with a rootkit if its an x64 system is nearly impossible and their pants easy to remove if they do occuer as they sacrafice so much to get at that kernel.
