For those wondering, the existing, paid version is going nowhere, with free players given the option of upgrading should the fancy take them.

is this i have to buy the game and then i get to play without a monthly fee or will id be entirely free and i dont have to spend any money what so ever

I believe you should be able to register and play for free without having to buy a cd key.


I just tried it out and this is my quick quick lvl 5 conclusion:
- Global chat is very active
- Lots of lowbies running around, the first open area, White Sands could be some possible fun with all the lowbies that will be forced to quest there. (assuming you play on a pvp server, which you should).
- It seems free players only gain half of the inventory space, pretty annoying.
- The 4 ****s available for free is not in my personal preference. The ****s is:
Guardian - Generic and boring melee tank
Barbarian - Personally I'd rather have the assassin but barbarian aren't bad, they're fast paced and cool.
Priest of Mitra - caster/healer, yaaaaawn
Demonologist - From what I've understood, WoW Warlock. Herald of Xotli and Necromancer are so much cooler. Necromancers can summon quite a lot of foes while I think the demonologist is limited to one mere demon companion. And Herald of Xotli, well, they're friggin silk wearing dudes with a big two handers, they're possibly one of the coolest ****s ever.
- I can't seem to post on their official forum as a free account! Not cool.
- Apparently they are releasing some new kind of pvp server which is a bit more hardcore. A lot of players in the chat are asking when it's coming!

However, as I am free for now, I am going to stick a while on my barbarian.

cause its not showing up in the search bar just god slayer and everytime i click on it it takes me back to the homepage
