This game story mode is a joke and killing floor runs the zombie game Genre....I'm sorry but the physics in this game are trash like zombies falling to the ground like paper..... it is LMFAO silly. And the cheesiness of the source engine is so outdated. It's on par with DayZ it's that silly. Killing floor saved zombie games for this gen without doing a damn thing. This game beats 90% of fps this gen in gun play alone. Thanks valve, for knowing that it's that bad. But KF tossed Gabe.

The whole game is practically designed around the Versus mode. If you aren't playing it, you aren't playing L4D.

I should have put IMO! LFD in it's day was fun as hell laying paper zombies down killing tanks watching each others back in the dark with the best lighting ATT. Then came LFD2 with more of the same so much that they ported all the levels into LFD2. No aim down sights old game play it's halflife 2 with zombie's cut into garrys mod with a story and it can run on 2003 hardware, hell it can run on my phone.

Versus mode is the epitome of cooperative multiplayer. No game reaches the peak of L4D2 when everything is even, fair. 4 incaps to save the round? 4 man boomer puke to let your buddies beat down on the blinded humans? Death charge off the roof? 25 point hunter pounce to incap coach? Nothing comes close to the adrenalin. The problem is there are too many idiots, rage quitters, stacked teams and pub stompers. An inconsistent experience.

HMMMM I guess i'm butthurt over a game that's old and needed deleted in 09. Now i got it free and it's so bad not even that butter can save your ass.

I agree that killing floor is better in many ways (especially the feel of the guns), but L4D2 is still great fun.

Try playing some of the 20 player servers, so much fun when you've got 20 people running from 10+ tanks.

I have to agree, L4D2 just cant match the feel of killing floor, kf's gun mechanics are top notch, killing zombies is soo much more fun and fluid, l4d2 isn't bad but I feel like its lacking that brutality kf has

I actually bought Killing Floor via HumbleBundle sale and I think it's worse than L4D series

KF is better for straight co-op but I put close to 400 hours into L4D2 mostly thanks to Versus mode which is a really fresh experience, especially when the teams are evenly matched.

I had some good fun with L4D2 and KF especially with friends online.

I never thought it was a bad game enjoyed it a lot co op and vs.

Games supposed to be fun sometimes you know .. Not the dead serious shits we playing all the time. MP in L4D2 is good , not the best but really fun. If you dont like it , dont play it. We dont care if you like it or not !! Its your opinion.

Yea has been on the internet for some time now, used to be something you never saw on GS due to the moderating. Now moderating is non-existent and this place has turned wild west.

I really love killing floor myself, but at least I knew different from TC in that both games aim to do different things.

Killing Floor is pure shit.

Complaining about something that is available for free... The game has been out for a long time and Valve has been known to do this once in a blue moon, like with Portal. Complaining about a game when there are counterparts like The Killing Floor is childish. We shouldn't have options...

So many Killing Floor fanboys and I never see them playing it. The game has good ideas but the engine is rubbish. Killing Floor 2 with a brand new engine would be nice though but I don't see it happening any time soon.

Everyone has different opinions. I found the Killing Floor to be really boring but I fell in love with the L4D series. So many great nights playing with and against friends and trying to survive on expert. The co-op and MP were top notch.

As much as I have loved Killing Floor, I really shake my head at this comment, Killing Floor did not SAVE the zombie genre lol. Project Zomboid, DayZ, 7 days to die, State Of Decay, The Walking Dead are all very good zombie games aswell.

For me personally I liked L4D2 and Killing Floor exactly evenly, just for different reasons.

I enjoyed L4D2 much more than KF.

Killing Floor had some nice ideas, but it had absolutely no longevity for me. Every scenario is exactly the same, on slightly different maps, with slightky different weapons.

I greatly prefer L4D2. The variety of scenarios is excellent, replaying levels leads to very different experiences, and it has much better cooperative/competitve aspects to it. I really don't get all the hate L4D2 gets - it's a great game, marred only by some elements of its online community (but bugger that, I've got enough friends to keep it fun).

So, reading this thread, I'm starting to think I should try out Versus mode. Never have. Don't play L4D very often, and when I do, it's just campaigns with a couple old friends I don't live near anymore.

One of the problems with Killing floor is stale uninteractive levels.

Killing Floor's levels are uninspired and you can't play as one of the zombies. So L4D2 has those 2 things going for it.

Killing floor outsold lfd2 didn't it? on pc and killed it. I'm still playing kf and a million other people. That's why Valve gave LFD2 away it's Lfd1 and they feel bad.
