Hi. Every time i uninstall and install new nvidia drivers i all ways do a rate this system test in Windows experience. My Graphics allways been 9.0 but since today uninstalling and installed the new nvidia 320.14 drivers my score has gone down to 7.9. I no most say dont go of this score but has any one else done this and got a lower score?

Don't follow the WEI, do a proper benchmark and see if its lower.

Don't bother with Windows Experience Index. It's not an accurate way of rating your hardware.

Use a proper benchmark.

7.9 usually because someone has a mechanical hard drive. Throw in an SSD and that score goes right up.

sonsofb!tches. My memory sucks ass.

That's right.  Just checked my WEI, and of course, my hard drive is 5.9 and WEI is determined by lowest score subscore.  My processor scored a 7.6. :-P

Don't ever let WEI determine how good or bad your rig is. Run some true benchmarks and see if you get any performance improvements.

Are Nvidia drivers for GTX 670 crappy for everyone else? The last two drivers give me insane artifacts in BF3, and only BF3. I'm beginning to think it's my GPU.....

It might be your GPU. My 670's have been fine with the current drivers. The only one problem I found with 314.22 occured with the Trials Evolution Gold Edition demo. With SLI enabled, I get about 5 - 10 frames per second. It only works with one 670.

Yeah SLi is understandable, but I've had this BF3 artifact incident twice, and both happened after the security issues DICE/EA has been having recently.  I swear, I am really pissed off with Nvidia at the moment.  Release the damn GTX 7xx series already so I can make my next move...

Edit:  My GTX 670 scored 7.9 hahaha

@ FaustArp: Is that Windows 7 or 8?

Windows 8's WEI scoring number is higher, meaning if on Windows 7 you get a perfect 7.9, it'll be lower on Windows 8. It goes up to like 8-something as opposed to 7.9.

Windows 8.

It was a pretty nice OS when I played on an HDTV but now that I'm on a monitor I don't like it as well.
