Nvidia Card Question

So I've had my laptop (Hp Pavilion dv6000 with vista) for over a year and never installed a game on it, but I've been reading about the game Spore and I want to buy it and now I'm wondering if I'll need a better Nvidia card thing, mines a Nvidia GeForce Go 6150. Someone told me I need 6200+ but I don't know if they know what they are talking about.

If I do need a better card what do you recommend I get and how do I change the cards out? Do I do it myself or take it down to bestbuy or something? (I really hate going to bestbuy I feel like they get bonuses off my stupidity :P).

Any help is greatly appreciated because I'm really new to the whole pc games thing :D

1) Better laptop

2) A decent desktop.

Do you not have a desktop? You could probably upgrade it to play spore for around 50 bucks if that.
