Woot! Being a non American in a world where most games or their translations and internet discussion about those games are all designed by/held with Americans I do get sick of American grammar at times.

My number one pet hate in all the world is how y'all (wink) say "I could care less".

WTF Do you think that saying means? If you COULD care less then you must care some, which makes saying this to declare how little you care, meaningless. To say this properly, you just need to add 2 letters and an apostrophe. If you COULDN'T care less, then you really musn't care at all, since you are unable to care even less than you already do. Hence, if you COULDN'T care less then you don't give a **** (like most people reading this post that I couldnt' restrain myself from making). It's not hard to understand if you think about it, so why, whenever I come onto the internet, do I always see you guys say "I could care less". It makes me want to smash my face into my keyboard.

That line was a major spoiler in playing the NWN2 original campaign. It seemed for 90% of the dialogue options, you could choose a "I could care less" response. It drove me mad and removed that dialogue option for me as I couldn't bring myself to choose it, even when I otherwise may have done so.

Now, when playing MoTB I've just started talking to the Half-Celestial companion you pick up at the first town you go to after leaving the caves and guess what? The dialogue option has changed to "I COULDN'T CARE LESS". I'm so happy. I want to know who the smart person who picked up on that god-awful bug is and THANK THEM. Thankyou!!!!!!

:)

Also, is it just me or do the graphics in the dialogue cut scenes (do you call those cut scenes or close ups) look better than in the original campaign, even when patched after both are installed? I think my clothes that I imported over were changed from a generic outfit graphic to new graphics that were individual to that item/helmet/boots and not used for 10 others.

I'm sure it's not just Americans that make that mistake with that phrase. But yeah, I always make a conscious decision to say it properly.

And on the "y'all," we're not all Southern hicks and rootin', tootin' cowboys, you know. :P We've got all manner of stereotypes here like absolutely no other country; there's no single phrase or way of talking you can label as "American," (besides maybe the neutral accent) because pretty much anything that is exclusive to America probably doesn't apply for the majority of its inhabitants.

It has good and bad points. It's supposed to be about 30 hours extra play time but the map looks to have about 10 locations and I've been playing 5 hours (I play thoroughly, exploring all loot & Dialogue) and I've been playing 5 hours while still in the second location (witch town Mul something). So that's good. More play time is a bonus IMO.

Also it feels harder on the fighting. You can get annihilated in some fights if you aren't a strong fighter or magician (I'm a level 15 rogue, 5 shadowdancer, 1 Neverwinter 9 & 1, Dualist). I actually had to use god mode to defeat one oponent Forovar from the Beserker's club. It turned out to be a rather unimportant fight for an unimportant club membership that only serves to net you a nifty anti-spirit sword that may help with the Bear Spirit fight coming up. Drinking Heal potions didn't seem to work as A)- he smashed me down harder than the heal potion helped so wiped me out between drinks and b)- even when I'm sure I won by having a little health from the potions when he got KOed, the 'referee' of the fight would still pronounce him the winner. I thought that was just a game bug until I won without heal potions in god mode.

The story is also darker. You wake up with a wound in the chest where the shard once was, and it seems some kind of soul eating spirit now lives inside you instead. Very early into the game you come across a torture table where you have a memory of people cutting you open alive, buried elbow deep in your blood while you're conscious. Luckily you've blocked this out until then. Around the same time you find out your companion's mum has been murdered and another person commited suicide by incineration and you keep being given closeups of the charred skeleton, which looks photographed from RL. But, I like gore LOLz.

Yes, it was a lame joke, but had to be said. Frankly, I happen to agree with you. I do find the expression somewhat irritating. However, it's not my biggest my biggest pet peeve when it comes to spoken English. I hate it when people use the singular form of "to be" in conjunction with the plural form of countable nouns. "There's lots of room available." "There's chips in the bowl."

I also hate when young women make a factual statement but put a rising inflection on the end of the statement so it sounds as if they're asking a question.
