NWN2 on 8500gt?

Hey im a newb at video games on pc's and I was wondering if NWN2 would run on an Nvidia 8500GT

Im certain that my RAM and CPU are high enough (3GB and my cpu is a quad core at 2.2 ghz)

could I run it?

How much VRAM is on that card? NWN2 suffered on my 320 MB 8800GTS, but it ran much, much better on my 512 MB 8800 GT.

If you are having problems with performance, make sure you are fully patched, and take down the shadows a notch. That alone should give you 10 frames.

im not positive but i think its a 512 MB (i just got it on monday and im not near it right now)

if its any help, it was rated a 5.3 on that Vista rating thing

You will be able to run it, but not on max. My 8800GT runs it almost maxed at about 25-30 fps average. Its not very well optimized. I dont know what kind of performance a 8500GT gives, but if its less that a 8600, it wont max the game for sure. Get the game though, and check out this tweak guide to help you out with getting it to run properly.

It runs much less than a 8600 - 8500's werent made specifically for gaming.
