i understand (from what i have been told) comic con is mainly for the experience of seeing people dressed up , maybe see some actors from tv shows you watch, get free goodies, preview/ play many unreleased games, comics, comic book stuff toys, and anime. i honestly don't care about most of that (except people dressed up/ cosplay - i think its cool). i have also been told that it is mainly gaming console based. i missed comiccon and my friend said there were tons of gaming pcs, pc that are so much better than mine, and tons of pc related stuff. he is console only gamer and most likely thinks if there is some bright lights in a computer and alienware logo than it is better than my pc.
main question: is there a heavy pc presence at comic con? or is it amount to stuff you can see in about 5 minutes?
While cnsole gaming is very big at comic con; There was a floor for mainly PC gaming..this year they even had live tournments for starcraft 2 and LoL

i do not know what LoL is and i do not like game like Starcraft type of games, or mmo type games. was intel giving away free i7s as like a limited raffle or literally giving them away to a certain amount of people? anyway besides i7 giveaways, tournamnets, what else was there in regards to pc gaming? can you be a little more specific? Was there different pc case companies, pc game demos, cool new controllers like the novint falcon, razer section, nvidia section, etc...? thanks

The point is you stated a bunch of PC only things you don't like/don't know about and then asked about something that is console centric in regards to PCs. My point was that you are actually a console gamer on a PC.

you still make no sense. i prefer pc gaming with a gamepad. if a game is better with keyboard and a mouse and does not support a gamepad i will play it with a keyboard /mouse like witcher, amnesia, and mass effect. i do own a ps3 and use it occasionally. i do like console controls however that does not make me a "console gamer" i game 95% on pc and 5 % on ps3
