oblivion BIG problem..

hey basically when i start up oblivion (referring to the main menu, not the small start up window) no music plays, I still get sound effects but nothing else.

Please advise me on what is wrong and how can I fix it, i have try the uninstall and install option many times and in the past it has worked but now nothing!

Just for your information, i have all the requirements to play oblivion and then some, so I know it is not a direct X related problem

This might be a solution. Try it and I will see what else I can find in the mean time.
