Oblivion game of the year edition

I just bought Oblivion goty yesterday. I had played my old roomate's copy when it first came out in 2006. I got about 10 hours into it when I the leveling system just killed it for me.

After hearing about the mods that fix the leveling problems I thought I give the game a try again. What's a good mod to try out. I'm not looking for a hard mod that puts everything up 10 levels above me. I rather get something that keeps the game enjoyable as well as rewards you eventually for getting the levels. I want my character to be a bad ass eventually. I don't want him to get spanked by a small globin when he's like lvl 30.

If anyone knows of a popular and stable mod please list the link for it.

I'm having trouble finding the mod you're talking about. I clicked on the top 100 mods for that site and all I see are eye candy mods. Not that is a bad thing but, seriously how many adult Mods can one person install without getting tired of it...

He's not talking about difficulty either... He's talking about the levelling system which i totally agree, is terrible.

Like the others said, OOO is your best bet, it's fairly well done and fix that problem while adding a bunch of stuff and tweaks in the game.
