Ok, i have had problems with these body replacing mods. I tried to get eyecandy, HGEC and Roberts male replacer. But I had major problems. With roberts the males had no eyes and sometimes no torsos, with HGEC and eyecandy on the women only had heads. So I uninstalled everything and started from scratch. I have the mod manager. I downloaded oblivion/isles/knights. I updated them. Now i installed the Darkui mod. I added it into mod and activated it. I downloaded the mod versino of eyecandy. I activated it. I downloaded qarl's mod version and activated it. I load oblivion. And the models look the same. I thought for sure it would work if i only did that. However it didn't. I really want to try to get at least one model version working. It seems like the body mods are the only ones I have trouble with.

Interesting. I actually downloaded a bunch of HGEC mods yesterday, but haven't had a chance to install them yet. I hope I don't run into similar problems.

Did you install any associated mods/files? By that, I mean that in the description of the mod you want to install, there are often additional files listed that are necessary for the mod you want to use to work properly.

It may not be the reason for the problem you're having, but I'd at least a) go to the site you downloaded from and read the description or b) read the text file within the archive you downloaded (if it had a text file). Usually, the description or the text file will say if you need to install other mods or files in conjunction with the desired mod you are trying to use.

StrawberryHill is probably right. From what I know, and from the Body mods I've installed, they sometimes don't come with the original files needed. Most body mods that I know of are upgrades from other body mods, but they require the first ones to begin with. Though, sometimes they're not very good at explaining that in the readme file. Some just sort of assume you know what you should download before-hand, and it's extremely irritating.

Well the filein question I'm using is the Omod version. so basically I just load it and activate it in Omod. Its just one file.

StrawberryHill

Strawberry Hill makes a very valid point. Another good example would be the three Unofficial Patch mods. They are programmed to work with Official Patch 1.2.0416 only.

Believe it or not, some people are running Oblivion without 1.2.0416.
