Hey guys
I'm stuck on oblivion. Whats the control for resting in-game. Do I have to go to a town for the night or something?
thanks.

Rest is important in the game. You must rest to level up. When an arrow icon apears on your screen means that you must find a bed and rest.

You can press T to wait around and heal if you don't want to use Restoration or health potions. It's advisable to do that in areas where creatures are not roaming around.
You only need to rest in a bed if you want to level up (or really get into the roleplaying aspect and giving your character a rest period every day). You need to USE a bed (hit your assigned use key) to sleep in it.
Note: you do not have to level up in the game if you do not want to, so you can pretty much play the entire game ignoring beds. Of course, that means the whole game will be easier - unless you are using mods to increase the levels (and difficulty) of monsters (like Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul). If you are using such a mod, it is advisable to level up as much as possible.
Joining the Fighters Guild or Mages Guild will also give you access to a free bed in the Guild houses (there is one of each in every town except the Imperial City). Otherwise, you will have to risk finding a bed in a dungeon for free, or pay up some gold for a bed at one of the Inns.
Hello everyone..I'm going out today to purchase this game for my pc. Can anyone give me any info about how to play and what i would need. Also is this a game you play online with fellow gamers? Any info would be appreciated.Thanks..emt3225
It's a single player (offline) game. There is no multiplayer. As for how to play the game it is very easy to get into, and you play through a tutorial style level when you first start the game that asks you questions about how you want to set up your character, and hints about how to use the weapons and magic.
Enjoy the game. :)
