of these games, which would you recommend.

ive been bored lately. i need a good digital download, $30 or lower fix. what do you recommend of:

Gears of War
GRAW 2
Sins of a Solar EMpire (bit of a stretch at $40)
Unreal Tourney 3

any other suggestions (i have all HL 2 related things, and i will use any downloader).

ive heard some horror stories about the game stuttering. will i be alright with the 4870?

il add in a new option (with a caveat): Mass effect

alhtough this would mean i would have to wait longer to upgrade my proc, the e6600.

i should be alright though.

sounds good. anyone else? ive heard mass effect is amazing, graw 1 i enjoyed, UT 2k4 was awesome, and sins is like gal civs + SW:eAw.

Gears of War, I haven't finished it, but what I have played is great. I don't really like the aiming (seems like hitting the head or body is no different) but there is so much ammo that you can just blow through your ammo. Also the grenades are as good as useless to me.

fun game though.

that is a fine processor and the GPU is like the best out there. Mass Effect is a great game, and I change my mind, get that.

Sins of a Solar Empire - a bit of a stretch at $40? Not sure what would make you think that. It's a terrific game, and easily the best among the ones you mentioned.augustlight

well i ended up gettin sins and bioshock for $15.

Good purchase. On both counts. Sins of a Solar Empire more so than Bioshock, but can't go wrong with a $15 purchase!
