Guys the splash screen has been updated on teh entrance to blizzard.com .... there are now clear rune symbols (5 in all ) surrounding center.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, although it would be silly for them to have two RTS games in the works.

It's not updated yet.You're looking for around 12AM PST, 3 AM EST time for the update.

Here's what the runes are from:

1) Rune from frostmourne

2) Hel rune from Diablo II

3) Protoss symbol from Starcraft

4) Logo for the game "Pax Imperia" which was made by Blizzard, but later abandoned.

5) A compass from one of Blizzards earliest games, "Lost Vikings".

Basically it's just a roundup of all Blizzards games, offering no hints as to what's inside the ice. It seems like Arthas now, but further speculation has revealed that there is still a possibility of it being Diablo. Who knows, it updates again tonight at 3:00AM EST, 12:00 Central.

Battle.net has added a Diablo 3 section to their forums though, could mean something.

Tomorrow is Diablo II's anniversary as well.

I would like it to be Diablo 3 also, but you are just making stuff up. Only one of the symbols is a rune (Hel rune- upper right.), 1 is the protoss symbol (Lower left), one is something from warcraft (not sure what Upper left), The one on top appears to be a compass (Possibly Lost vikings) the one in lower right is unknown.

My guess: Blizzard is ****ing with us, and when we see the picture, it probably won't be that relevant.

i thought it was at arthas at first to..but the spot in between the eyes on arthas's helmet is flat, and this one is curved upwards. Who knows, blizzard is probably just messing with us, lol
