CoD4 is already out, we got Kane and Lynch coming, Crysis, SoF...(and SMG for Wii) I don't have enough cash to spend on all this amazingness!!

[QUOTE="mfsa"]There's also The Witcher and Hellgate - both have been out a week or two, but they're both very long-lived games. Well, The Witcher is, anyway. I've been playing it solidly for the last eight days and i'm only on chapter 3 of 5.omerdv
Is the witcher that good?
I don't typically like roleplaying games. I think Bloodlines is the only RPG I've ever truly loved - mostly, I think, because I don't like d&d rules... and almost all the good RPGs use d&d rules and pause & plan combat I just don't enjoy.
But I utterly love The Witcher. It has great combat, an interesting story the player can influence, tons of submissions that mostly amount to more than just go here and do that, quality voicework and dialogue for the most part, beautiful visuals and a truly epic lifespan... like 40-60+ hours- really, it's just a perfect package. I don't know how gamespot could give it 8.5 when Gears of War gets a 9.
If you like roleplaying games - or even if you don't - The Witcher is definitely something worth checking out.

does the pope crap in the woods?
Yes, the witcher is brilliant. It is problably one of the best RPGs of the 21st century.
And ya, there are many games this month, let alone this week! Fry's is having Crysis and Sim City Societies released one day early (the 15th!) and for 39.99! I freakin love that store.
I am actually taking 50 bucks out of my savings to go buy it. Shame on me.
Yeah, I fail to see how a game like bioshock can get a 9.0, but a significantly more interesting game with deeper gameplay, story, and length can garner a lower score. Oh well.shanelevy
hype helps reviewers give bloated scores. Can you believe GeoW got a 9,6 on the 360? It wasn't THAT good :?
