I just got my gaming pc and i have Dawn Of War 2, but im looking for a good fps with good graphics to see ow my computer can hold up.

I am stuck between

crysis

crysis warhead

stalker (number 1) as i want to know the story

Which one should i get?

I have a gateway fx

Quadcore 2.3ghz

8800gt

soundblaster

3gb ram

Now i know crysis will not be on ultra high with my specs but can i even run it on high with no shadows or no? and how many fps will i get with crysis on high with no shadows?

Oh and i forgot to mention i will be running it at 1360x768

I haven't played any of those but if you really want to test your system go with Crysis.

I recommend Crysis and/or Warhead.

I do NOT recommend Stalker. I did not like it at all. Instead of Stalker, try Fallout 3 or Far Cry 2.

you'll run those games fine. With your system, im thinking avg 30 fps, all high, no AA maybe no shadows for crysis? Itll still look amazing. IF you want you can OC your CPU and GPU a tiny bit to add some more juice. And read guides for optimizing gpu speed through the video options for it. Like the Nvida control panel or w/e.

Edit: avg 30 fps isnt bad at all in crysis btw. The game appears to play or seem smoother than other games. Iinstead of setting everything to high, play around with the settings. Choose very high for some, maybe medium or one or two settings that affect performance but dont add that much bling bling.

Be sure to check crymod (crymod.com) after you finish the single player campaigns ;). Also, don't worry, at that res you can max out Crysis, of course no AA. Have fun :).

Just get TF2 and join the multiplayer party!

PS I really liked STALKER, a little janky but overall innovative.
