ok what the hell is wrong with direct x 10?

i am playing hellgate london a game that can use direct x 10 and i tried it and it absoulutly made the game worse it slowed down to a crawl and the graphics looked all blurry and the screen wasn't at full. WTH isn't direct x 10 supposed to be better?

after i switched to DX 9 and everything was good and i was playing it at full settings.

my video card is a 8600 gt a direct x 10 card and itsway beyond the recommended video card for this game.

my question is direct x 10 useless or what?

has anybody else played hellgate london with direct x 10? wanna know if it happened to them

yeah, I play it in DX 10, on a 8800 Ultra tho.

It drops 10-15 frames and it seems it overuses effects, the depth of field is pretty horried, and otherwise it is all bout little things, nothing major.

Just do yourself the favor and play in DX 9 better Framerate, and ironicly a more crispy looking picture you get out of it.

Could be an in game bug - I have no problems with DX9 on my X1950 Pro (on the highest settings possible) and I get a very good frame rate...

You could stick with DX9 for now and see if the developers will release a patch for it...
