How far can I clock the Q6600 with that HSF? BTW will I be able to run COD:WAW at maximum with that GPU?

I don't know about the clock, but WaW, I think you can run it at maximum in that 4850.

My rig is quite the same as yours ,u'll maxout all games ,well except crysis of course :) . Crysis can run at 30+fps ,if 1600x1200 high ,or 1280x960 very high ,2xAA in both cases. As for overclocking ,i think u can take it up to 3GHz ,for anything higher u'll need water cooling.

Get the best single card solution you can now then upgrade later when the price drops, crossfire ain't perfect (i think the second card gives you about 50% more performance but it depends on the settings).

With your budget I think you can get a good PC. I not sure what the predominant use is but if it is for games then I would recommend:

CPU - E8400 processor as you planto overclock and the cooler you're looking at will getyou at least 4GHz.

Mobo - Biostar T Power I45 is very stable overclocker.

RAM -If you can afford an extra £13 you can get CAS 4 (Corsair XMS).

HDD - dn't mention a hard-drive, if you need one then a Samsung F1 HD103UJ(1TB) is ~£68.

GPU - I would agree with markop2003 and get the best single card solution you can afford, with your budget this is likely to be a 1GB HD 4870 (£134).

Only other advice is to shop around especially with GPU, RAM and CPU; have a look at the 'Today Only' offers at Scan which change daily but there is £7 total carriage.

Good luck with your build.
