What's bios? Immediately, like split-second.

Basic Input Output System, an interface for controlling aspects of your PCs hardware. Do you see the splash screen?

Update:  I got thr RAM in fine, and now it turns on fine and doesn't beep. Nothing turns up on my monitor though, and the ram is super hot to the touch after 10 seconds. The monitor shows nothing, but works on my regular pc... any suggestions?

Insert only one RAM stick and try to boot. If it doesn't work, switch the sticks and see if that helps.

what do you mean success? did it start up? if neither sticks of ram are working they are probably bad, get a new one
