Do any of you still have an old computer with Windows 95/98/2000 on it? lol

I wish I had still had my old PC, so I can play my old school games normally. First PC I had was 486-66MHz PC with Win3.1/Dos upgraded to Win95. Then I upgraded the hardware to Pentium 166Mhz MMX with Win95 to Win98. Boy, I miss the good ol' days of computer gaming..

I've got at least one PI 133MHZ, 2 PII 400MHz PC's, a 386DX40, a 486DX40, 2 Commodore 64 computers, a dual PIII server, an AMD Athlon Thunderbird (HOT!), a couple of AMD Athlon XP's, one AMD Barton Core, a Core 2 Duo, etc. Anyway, I indeed keep the old PC's to play some old games on them, just for nostaligic reasons. Wolfenstein 3D, Raptor: call of the shadows, the first Command & Conquer game, also C&C: Red Alert, 7th Guest, 11th hour, etc.

I visit my parents almost every weekend. Back home, I'm stuck with a:

  • PII 350mhz
  • 256mb ram
  • Voodoo5 5500 PCI 64mb
  • 40gb HD (noisy as hell)
  • 17" Viewsonic CRT

I scavenged these parts from 6 different computers (it's got alot of ram for a PII). It used to run Win98 but gave me so much headache that I finally decided to go back to XP, which works perfectly. I use it mostly to surf, msn, and Diablo II!

I've been on a hunt for newer/better parts and old PC games at garage sales ever since.
